BEHIND THE SCENES ~ WONDERBRA

Yes you read right! Can you handle it?

It was such an incredible job to work on and the team is amazing...AH-MAY-ZING! I was given a great brief and the client was comfortable enough to listen to my input and suggestions. It really was an enjoyable shoot and I am so honoured to have been considered and booked for this shoot.

Here are some behind the scene pics from the Wonderbra Facebook page:

VICTORIA'S SECRET MAKE UP

Tom Pecheux is rapidly becoming my ultimate MUA inspiration. Which is a lot coming from a staunch Pat McGrath fan.

He keyed the make up for the Victoria's Secret 2011 show. Read his full run down of the look here.

I love his quotes!

VERSACE FOR H&M [MAKEUP]

"Into the Gloss is blog dedicated to beauty". It's my new favourite on my blog list and I'm sure I'll be retweeting and linking to quite a few of their incredible articles.

Here are a few pics of the make up from the Versace for H&M. For the full write up, visit Into the Gloss.

GOLD LEAF

Not the easiest thing to do. In fact I was asked to help out on a shoot recently where they were using gold leaf.

The video below from the Fendi show is very helpful. Also remember to powder your hands with baby powder, it'll stop the gold leaf from sticking to your paws.

MY WORK ~ SIMONNE BEAUTY

Remember Tanya? Apparently that kind of beauty is hereditary...Here's a shot from our test with her sister, Simonne (Also Outlaws Models)

MY WORK ~ TANYA FROM OUTLAWS

Here's a little sneak peek at a shot from our shoot with Tanya from Outlaws Models.  The ol' website is getting a revamp before the end of 2011 (you know, starting the new year fresh!) and the entire shoot will go live then.

We also shot a test for Tanya's sister, Simonne....keep an eye out for that beauty!

PRODUCT REVIEW ~ BOBBI BROWN PRO PALETTE

I don't sell product reviews. The product only gets a good review if it's good.  In fact, companies have asked me to review products and when I told them that honesty comes first, they've *poof* disappeared.

This is why I've waited so long to review the Bobbi Brown pro palette. I've been looking for one for ages and unfortunately they don't retail in SA, but the kind people at BB had some stock in their offices and sent me one to add to my kit. Needless to say, I was blown away!

I've had some time to use the palette and get to know the colours and consistencies on various shoots and here's the verdit: I'm pretty sure there's no other concealers I'll be using as regularly as my BB Pro Palette.

I love them. They set really well, the colour stays true and they have a smooth, velvety consistency. The foundations are also fantastic and I've found myself using these for darker skins instead of MAC or other foundations.

If you're in the market for a professional concealer palette, order online, get a friend to send it or plan a shopping trip over the seas. It'll be worth it. Promise.

PRODUCT REVIEW ~ MOROCCAN OIL

If you haven't already heard about Moroccan Oil, that's ok. Just don't do it again.

This is the best hair product I have EVER used. I was very nervous to use an oil on my fine, gets-oily-easily hair but it is amazing! My hair has never felt better, it's shiny but not oily and soft....so soft.

Put it this way, I'm getting this as a christmas gift for every girl on my list. It's pricey but it's that good.

Try it if you can, then run out and get yourself a bottle. It's gonna sell out fast!
